Hi, I’m Laura. I am an artist focused on exploring relationships, shared experiences, and human connections with each other and our world. Through installation and multimedia I create works that are layered and tactile, using sound, light, and materials. I am curious about the idea of permanence and transience, the histories of places, the natural environment, and the human journey. I believe that by examining my own experience and telling the stories of others, I bring awareness and highlight the common struggles and joys in an ever-changing world. My hope is that by illuminating these shared experiences we can connect with each other on a deeper level.

My ceramic work is dedicated to creating joy through a handmade, functional piece of art. I love exploring and challenging myself with new forms and techniques and I hope that comes through my work. With each ceramic piece, my goal is to create an experience that brings a person happiness and peace.
